My Sunday catch up!

The boy sunbathes

So this week the boy and I were festivalgoer’s! Ok maybe not hardcore ones; it was only a one day festival haha. We went to Festwich, a tribute band festival!

My arm art on the boy haha

The ticket were free so we thought it would be a great day out, especially as it turned out to be super sunny on the day! and don't worry we're not talking Abba and Queen tribute bands, there were tribute bands like Kazabian and Antarctic Monkeys haha. It was a lovely day, especially as there was lots of super yummy food to consume!

My whole mouth and tongue was turned bright blue after this bubblegum lolly!

We had goulash, ice cream, doughnuts and quite a few cupcakes! I had an Oreo cupcake which had Oreo icing and an Oreo baked on the inside and also a jelly belly cupcake with jelly babies baked on the inside and sour apple icing, I’m just going to let you process how delicious that is haha.

This week I decided to start a food diary. With the wedding so close I need to know I’m going to fit into my dress! I was pretty shocked at how much I snack! If I look at Friday I can say 'ok I only ate 1300 calories, not bad at all' except when I look at what I ate:
Strawberry Granola
Spinach and Ham and eggs
2 weightwatchers cookies
Pack of crisps
Strawberry bon bons
Malteasers
2 chocolate mini rolls
Fruit cereal bar

I had a proper breakfast and lunch and then it went downhill! This is pretty much how I was everyday but next week I’m working much less erratic hours than this week so I’m predicting an improvement.

This week my only night off was a Tuesday. It’s not exactly prime time to head out when you've got work in the morning but I didn't want to miss out, especially as my time living in Manchester is limited. My bridesmaid Beth and I went to the Comedy Store on Deansgate where we watched the heats of the BBC Radio 2 Comedy awards; it was brilliant and hosted by Chris Ramsey, one of my favourite comedians. Afterwards we headed out for shots and cocktails at Baa Bar. When we returned home the boy had made up the bed all ready for Beth and left us breakfast on the side for the morning, I’m so lucky!
